1. What is scalp micropigmentation?

Scalp micropigmentation, also known as medical tattooing, recreates the appearance of natural hair follicles by introducing organic pigments into the skin, more precisely the appearance of short-cut hair (brush) or the filling effect (more frequent hair).
Scalp micropigmentation (SMP) can also be used to hide scars from hair transplants, to cover the effects of burns or to treat hair loss caused by conditions such as alopecia.
The treatment is dedicated to both women and men.

2. Is the procedure painful?

Scalp micropigmentation is NOT a painful procedure, but for very sensitive people, a special anesthetic cream can be used to alleviate the discomfort generated by needle pricks.
Micropigmentation of the scalp is a completely non-invasive and non-surgical treatment, having no side effects or contraindications.

3. How many sessions are needed?

3 sessions are required.
Between the first and the second meeting there must be a difference of 14 days. The third session takes place three weeks after the second session.
*In the case of a dehydrated scalp, the pigment is more difficult to retain in the skin, so there is a possibility that a fourth session is needed.

4. How long does a session last?

The duration of the sessions will depend on the size of the area we need to cover. Usually 3 to 5 hours are required, but you will be given a more exact time frame during your consultation.

5. How long does the result last?

The effect of scalp micropigmentation, with proper care, can last from 3 to 7 years.
Optionally, for a fresh look, a single touch-up procedure can be done once every 12 months, and the cost of the procedure is around a quarter of the initial cost, but it can vary.

6. Do I have to take sick leave to perform the sessions?

Being a non-invasive treatment, it does not require recovery time after the sessions.
No side effects reported!
It is normal for clients to experience mild redness on the scalp the first day after the procedure. However, this discomfort is temporary and usually disappears within 24 hours.

7. Does the pigment change color over time?

Micropigmentation of the scalp is a very successful procedure, for more than 10 years, in the United States of America and Great Britain.
We are proud to inform you that the pigment we use, imported from the U.S. , is used by renowned international trainers in this procedure John Chandler, Fernando Cortes and Ryan Kingsbury.
The pigment is 100% vegan, allows for quick healing, does NOT change color over time and is not tested on animals.

8. Scalp micropigmentation or hair transplant?

Male pattern baldness is most often caused by androgenetic alopecia (genetic cause) and affects over 50% of men over 50.
Hair implant is a surgical intervention with a lot of benefits in some cases. First of all, it is a permanent solution, but there are also cases when the hair fell out and a second intervention was necessary.
Scalp micropigmentation is the excellent intermediate solution for people looking for a long-term, risk-free solution, a safe solution with visible results from the first session, but without going through all the steps of a surgical intervention, i.e. pain, scarring, bleeding, without public appearances after the intervention (total healing after hair transplantation can take up to 6 months), medical leave for recovery, etc.
Not everyone is an ideal candidate for hair transplantation, as the first important rule in the process is that the patient has the donor area.
Especially women are not ideal candidates when it comes to hair transplant because women are not willing to shave their head hair for the procedure then it becomes impossible for them to achieve this dream but fortunately scalp micropigmentation is the treatment ideal when it comes to androgenetic alopecia, traction alopecia, alopecia marginalis, hormonal imbalances (birth, menopause, emotional stress, etc.).

9. What is the cost of the procedure?

We adapt and customize the procedure according to your wishes and needs, depending on how big the area is that we have to cover, which means that the prices can vary.
